i was at my aunts house last weekend, in the country, pretty much the middle of nowhere in Michigan.
on her deck i saw this really dark dark black spider probably between the size of a dime & nickel crawling around. this is my description of it:
-it moved quickly and switched directions alot
-it looked like it was a little spider covered in armor ready to fight a war
-it had small, curved peg-type legs
-and its upper abdomen or "head" i guess you could call it was like a oval going horizontally.
thats all i can pretty much
first guess is a jump spider.they move in random jerky fashion.
2) a wolf spider, very active this time of year.
3)long slender fore legs,a proportionatly large bulbous abdomen,
could be a black widow. first 2 are harmless to humans. does anyone know what kind of spider this is? - Pet forum for dogs :: 30 posts - 13 authors - Last post: Jan 7does anyone know what kind of spider this is? What shape was it's abdomen?
My guess is it sounds like a black widow spider. I will provide a link for you to take a look at.
