I'm falling
falling
down, down
I am blind in the darkness
and the broken memories
of this bottomles pit
we sometimes call life
The calls of others linger

my mind and soul
eating away at my heart
cutting holes in my ambitions
even after they recede
into nothing
A forgotten past
of which I have now
been reminded
and of the daggers they possess
beneath those cloaks of lies
they stand above
watch me fall
