I have a long cycle 41+ and I am not on CD 46 with still no petiod and Neg HPT. I know I am a late ovulator so do you think I tested to early? I am a very petite girl 102 lbs 5'0...and have noticed a little little pouch..im very thin so i can notice right away.... I have occasional slight abdominal cramps. I took a HPT that detects 2O mIu and still neg...do you think since iovulated really late that it can still be too early. I really appreciate your advice TTC | Parents Connect::

You may have ovulated early or you just don't have enough hcg in your urine yet. Sometimes it can take up to a full month before you get that positive. So, don't give up! If you think you may be pregnant then either keep testing with home pregnancy tests or go and get a blood test and see what happens. Best of luck to you. It could totally be too early. do you know what day you ovulated? I would wait like 5 more days and take another test. You could also visit your doctor and get a blood test if you want. Good luck!
Chances are if you have such long cycles you aren't ovulating every cycle. If you are serious about wanting to get pregnant and you have been trying for a while then you should talk to the doctor about it.
