I've installed the new 2.1 Outpost on fresh XP Pro with all patches and updates.
I've a LAN at home, where is 2 computers, 192.168.0.1 (*.2).
Coputers see each other, ping and Network Shares are OK.
But second, "slave" or (*.2) computer can't browse the Internet, looks like all ports are closed for him.
I've tried to set in local settings "trusted" mode, tried to set up IP manually etc, but it does not help.

In log there is written something like "connection from a trusted zone, rule applied" or like this, I don't remember. But not work.
With old version all was ok.
If I remove the new version, all works just fine.
Seems to be a problem somewhere. But I've tried all, as I think, before post this problem here.

1. Make sure the XP Firewall is OFF.
2. Have you checked both your Blocked and your Attack Detection Logs for entries related the traffic of the slave PC.
3. The Attack Detection plugin was rewritten for V2.1. So if the Attack Detection plugin is involved in your blockage, that would explain the reason that V2.0 worked for you and V2.1 does not. You may have to edit the file called protect.lst and add your slave PCs IP Address to the Airport Wifi Networks Free Download::

section. The file 'protect.lst' is located in the directory where Outpost is installed and can be opened with a text editor like Notepad. If you have V2.1 installed, I can also give you a modified protect.lst file that you can use. After modifying 'protect.lst', it is best to reboot the PC or at least Exit and Shutdown Outpost and then restart it.
Note: If you want to do a quick check to see if the Attack Detection Plugin is the cause of your problem, then just disable it as follows:
1. Open the Outpost GUI and from the menu choose Options -> Plug-Ins Setup.
2. Click on (highlight) the Attack Detection plugin.
3. Press the STOP button. [Warning: Do NOT press Remove]
4. After disabling the Attack Detection plugin as described above, see if your client's (slave) connection will work.
