I phoned myself to upgrade form Latitude to I class last week and received a partial confirmation for my YOW YYZ YQR trip. Only YYZ YQR was confirmed at time of the request and I was assigned seat 3D with a wait list for YOW YYZ on an E 75 act.
At check in today in YOW, there is no trace of my upgrade and no record I even called when I asked the agent to check again.
I did eventualy get the upgrade for YOW YYZ on standby and am still waiting for the YYZ YQR to clear but all seats were occupied when I checked in. Personals Website # 5:: If you want to upgrade half-way through, instead of waiting until the end have no downtime and no lost data (super crucial for a data-driven business). http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/89561.htmlHOME |
Has this happened to you before and how can it be wiped out from the file?
It's been posted about but never happened to me personally. In any case, whenever I have an upgrade confirmed on the phone, I ask for a new itinerary to be emailed to me, or I use the AC site and print off a copy of the itinerary confirming the upgrade. Never, never assume anything with AC...always get it on paper! Receiving files with Internet Explorer for Mac:: Of course, that's if the IE upgrade doesn't work, or isn't a feasible option .. Thanks for quoting the paragraph where "I lost you." When I wrote that, http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/515208.htmlHOME |
It's happened to me once. Phoned in the upgrade but found out there was none when I got to the airport.
I also check the AC.com website immediately after phoning to make sure the upgrade was processed. I have been able to catch one more instance of the upgrade not being properly processed.
