We are flying FC through LAX on Dec 25th, landing terminal 3 (2 hr layover) and out to Mexico. What procedure would you recommend? Do you go to the Boardroom in terminal 3 for a period of time and then how soon go to the International terminal? How long would it take to get between terminals and check in? It may be moot if the Boardroom is closed Christmas? I assume there are no FF lounges in the Int. terminal.
If you're taking AS to Mexico, the departure gates are right by the FF Boardroom. Alaska has some special deal where their Mexico flights go out of the same terminal as all of their other flights.... so no need to transfer terminals.

not really a special deal for AS. all US airlines operate their international flights out of their regular terminal at LAX. QF has a few of their flights to SYD operate out of AA terminal 4 instead of the Tom Bradley Intl Terminal. unlike most foreign countries that 'process out' most international pax by immigration checkpoints, the US still relies on airlines to collect the paperwork of foreign visitors prior to departure.

It's usually closed at Christmas and closes early on the 24th. I had to go to the CO PC this past Christmas eve in SEA.

Actually take the elevator that is next to the Burger King up one level - that's where the Boardroom is. :p
The return from Mexico would go through TB because of the customs requirement, I assume ?
