I doubt it. I mean, many people hate China, but not to the extent that they'll sign nuclear deals directed against them. even with all the US-China strife going on, these 2 countries still trade with each other and cooperate quite effectively. No country in their right mind will want to worry about China when there are even more problematic countries to deal with , like North Korea , Iran and Iraq.

And i agree with the answerer before me; if China and India do sign a nuclear deal, people will back down immediately. Just the 2 of them are enough to make the rest of the globe obey them.
Most people still don't take India seriously enough though; they don't know how to reinvent and update themselves, unlike China.
US just trying to keep India away from China. Nuclear deal is one of them.

But I can tell you one thing, nowadays most of the US activities are to block or to stop the growth of the China and make other countries to support US.
India is one of them and a main reason that US now making deals and making India an ally is, If a war comes US can launch attacks easily to any of the middle east countries/China/Russia from India. In fact it can easily launch attacks to any part of the Asia/Middle east from India.

As an Indian I can say that we would never mind to let US troops inside.
So India and Israel are the main concerns of US. It's for it's own security and not towards China. In fact US fears the growth over China. People saying that India would beat China economically by 2025. I don't know but I can say that the IT field here is growing like crazy ;)
Anyhow now India also making deals with Russia, I have no idea what we will do if a third world war comes.

Not at all. China is way ahead of India in many respects, especially in science and technology. India is a poor, energy-starved country trying to improve its power generation capacity for the next decade. Hope there will be a China-India nuclear deal, France-India nuclear deal too in the near future. If there is China-India co-operation in several fields, we will be a mighty force to reckon with, even by the European Union or any other block in the world.
