I've been trying to reinvent myself kind of!
I have this plain and boring style that was boring me so I finally did something about it!
I've been saving up since my birthday and baby siting/doing chores like crazy for some new clothes and finally bought them all! (eight hundred dollars worth!)
I also put some this red streak in my hair (it looks really cool!) and got some layers.
And lastly I bought some make up to wear!
As you can tell i'm really excited!
But now i'm worried. Do you think that i'm going to seem fake if i start wearing makeup and black nail polish even thought I really like it?
I don't want to be called a poser...
i don't think you'll be fake. most guys like it when girls change their style every once and a while. it would have been cool to do it over the summer, but whatever, its all good. just maybe start by incorporating some of your "old style" clothes with your new wardrobe. be suddle at first. maybe start with simple make-up and then put a little variety in it after a few weeks. this is just a way to not-so-drastically change yourself. but if that is what you want, then go for it. its your body, so do what you please. unless it like hurts you of course. ;)
well thats what i did and no body called me a poser and if they do call ya that tell em to step off.
don't try too hard with the i'm emo or prep or punk over doing it will make you look like a poser...................................... black nail polish will not do that much even girly people wear it just remember black 24/7 will make you look like a poser but if you already did take up a hobby to match your apperal then you will no longer be a poser

Get to the basics of makeup. First it involves knowing your skin tone. Once you know this you can experiment with the foundation. Once your foundation is established you can focus on highlights. First your eyes, then your lips, then everything else falls into place.
By the way, you don't have to pay too much for makeup.

I thing your just encited and your pushing your limits. Wanting to be non-boring dosent mean adding red highlights and paintin black nails and makeup is gonna make u attractive. You can be non borin and look nice. Try some settle pretty highlights and i wouldnt go with balck nails maby a dark purple or blue and your makeup and still be fun without looking freaky.
u shouldnt b called a poser cuz i liked changed over the summer and no 1 calls me that... if u slowly start wearing ur new outfits and sometimes wearing ur old outfits ppl shouldnt call u that...
