I have been told to write about the economics of a real estate issue but i am struggling to find one. I been told to do something like wembley stadium, channel tunnel or Olympic in London but not really sure what to write about. Anyone have any suggestions?
Olympics is always an interesting one and it's global relevence gives plenty of material to work with. Does Britain need more manly men? - Telegraph:: British boys are suffering from a lack of masculine role models who exhibit old-fashioned values of bravery and resourcefulness, according to the historian Neil Oliver. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1931568/Does-Britain-need-more-manly-men.htmlHOME |
there are many financial and economic issues too;
How much public money is being used; is it sticking to budget, is lottery money used(as it is in the UK), how does it compare?
What social/political hurdles does the project face and how it compares to the the Beijing Olympics.
These are just a few issues.
Or you could tie in several issues(depending on the guidelines given), andhow the Channel tunnel has enabled links to these major sporting stadiumsvia the transport systems . Or if you want to do something a little bit different, how about looking a the proposed London Rail Crosslink Project that should be completed by 2020?
Remember though to examine how each project ties in with Real Estate issues.
Hope this helps.....good luck.
You can write about how the ratio of the medium home price to median income (sometimes called the affordability ratio) always seems to revert to the mean. Starting in the late 1990s, the ratio increased rapidly. This meant that inevitably there would have to be a steep decline (which we're seeing right now).
