I am 15 years old and i have had diabetes for almost 12 years..I am currently in the process of trying to get a pump, for the last few years i have been looking at numerous pumps but in the last year i found one that looks really good that i am trying to get. It is the Animas 2020 insulin pump and it has all these great features, a flat panel color screen and a 500 food data base ect. Is there anyone on here that has this pump?

If so, could you give me your opinion on it please, what are the pro's and con's of this pump? Do you recommend it? And how much did you pay for your pump (just the pump alone) is it complicating to use?

It also comes in 5 colors (pink,black,silver,green and blue) Im thinking about either the green, black or most likely blue..what do you think?

I would go with Mini-med being that your 15 it should be easier to use they have one that links with your meeter and if your low it will give you your insulin instad of you having to do it The insulin pump | Facebook::

Have you called the Animas company to see if they could direct you to a distributor? Also, they might have a video/dvd showing the different insulin pumps. Also, the American Diabetes Association, should have the information you desire. They publish a Diabetes Product Guide (in Dec or Jan) and that might be of help to you.
