I have a Verizon wireless phone and my daughter borrowed it about 5 mo ago for a trip and just kept it. I dont really use it all that often.
My car stalled in the driveway of my friends house and now I need to get it towed to the shop.
Meanwhile, my daughter has the phone and has taken off on a trip 140 mi away. Do I have to have the phone on me to get my vehicle towed?

I told her last nite to leave the phone, so I could get my car towed and she took off with it anyway. I took off work tommorrow to be able to do this and I am driving a junk truck and am so angry right now I could spit nails. Any suggestions?
Verizon does offer roadside assistance. You have to be subscribed to it, though, it costs like $2.99 a month, I think. Also, you do have to have the phone with you.
I'd call Verizon from another phone and ask them. If they say no then how about calling your daughter and having her call about it and send them to your friends house?
