If you ask me that name is effeminate no matter how you spell it. But if you have to use the name for family naming purposes then I would spell it Terry. I would also make it a middle name if possible.

Well I don't like the term 'too gay', because it has nothing to do with that, but effeminate, yes, I do think the name Teri spelled that way for a boy is effeminate. Not only would people assume it's a girl, on paper, it would cause the kid a worldful of grief growing up with a girls name. It's really no better than naming your son Jessica. *shrug*
