Just found this at the aa.com web site:
Dallas to New Orleans Round Trip $60
No advance purchase required!
I am headed there tomorrow!!!
.....a "big easy" 3000 miles
BobCharlap - how did you get that fare to price?
DFW-MSY is one of the routes I always watch. That fare sounds like a compete with the Southwest Anniversary fares.
Nice, but still $0.02/mile, $0.06/q-mile. i guess if you can add in the 1k online booking bonus, it becomes slightly more reasonably (down to $0.015 / mile). santox.kilu.de/bzy.html:: markowitz bronze age jack miles author god biography homosexuality aluminum william r. virginia bell susan racer indianapolis ncaa final four herbal bute http://santox.kilu.de/bzy.htmlHOME |
I can't price the tkt to be $60, i plugged in 10/19 and returning on 10/20. The price is $600-700.

The $178 west coast-MSY fare has been on sale for over a month now. From SEA, it comes up to $212 with tax (I know, I bought mine 9 Sept.) Should get 15,151 miles out of it.
oops I forgot about the booking bonus ......make that 4000 miles for the trip
1000-base
1000-plat
1000-double miles
1000-online booking
Gotta love those "Fare Alerts"
my ticket priced out to $71 including tax.
I can't find it ether. WN has an anniversary special DAL-MSY $30 one way 7 day advance that expires at midnight PDT tonite. Mmaybe AA briefly matched?
I went to aa.com and found LAX to MSY for $178, but every date I put in comes back with a $700-$800 price too, or its sold out!
