What is everyone using for measuring dew points while on the road? I've just got a simple anemometer mounted on the outside of the car. I really don't want an entire weather station out there just to get a dew point. Is it spring yet? The “True” Monsoon The history and use of the 55oF dew point ::

I purchased a Kestrel 4500 pocket weather meter back in September. It's Kestrel's high-end model--cost me around $300 and has a ton of cool functions on it, many of which I'll probably never use. I just need to have them, that's all. :p You can pick from a number of other models, from less pricey to much less pricey, all of which will do you fine for measuring dewpoints and give you other Wx info besides.

I can vouch for Kestrel products, I have a 3500 myself that I bought off of E-Bay back in 05 or 06 (can't remember), it is a quality and accurate product.
Don't get the Brunton ADC-Pro, at least if you live at altitude. Mine doesn't have the range to compensate for the 6,900 ft. elevation here. Plus, it reads consistently lower on temp and higher on rh than my Davis Vantage Pro2, which I'm apt to trust more.
I have a Kestrel 4000 and I can vouch for it's effectiveness.

I used a Davis Weather Station. I used to have a kestrel (i lost it :( ). But since i have had my weather station, the Td has not been off by more than one degree from the Oklahoma Mesonet measurement. Im very pleased with it.

Sorry to bump this back up, but you gotta love a good ol' sling psychrometer. You can easily calculate RH, but obviously not dewpoint directly.
I used to have access to one and it was cool to get out every now and then and take a measurement.
