Actually, I was refering to a program of AMEX Canada which used to provide a certificate once a year which was valid in Y,C or J for a companion.
I seem to remember seeing that a different program was now offering this however I don't recall where I saw it.
I guess a using miles for a companion award is still possible but I was hoping to find a program that offered a complimentary certificate.
