I recently bought a Canon HV20 at work. We already own some simple software that allows me to make short clips and frame grabs from M2T files so a $100+ NLE program is overkill for what I need. If I have to spring for Vegas or Pinnacle or Premiere, I'll do it, but I'd love to be able to just copy the tape over to a file and call it good.
