AA TPA-PDX $106+taxes
-valid any day, no minimum stay
-3 day adv purchase
-M class
Works on aa.com and on orbitz
You might have some luck by asking aa.com to price:
TPA-MIA
MIA-PDX
PDX-MIA
MIA-TPA
I got that to work for my dates, but I would arrive into TPA too late to return to SDF or wherever I happen to be that week. So, I had to settle for www.epa.state.oh.us/dapc/transfer/airport/CommercialAircraft2002.xls:: 102*#103*#104*#105*#106*#107*#108*#109*#110*#111 Tokyo, Japan*OMA Omaha, NE*ONT*Ontario/San Bernardino, CA*ORD*PDX Toledo, OH*TPA Tampa, FL*TUS http://www.epa.state.oh.us/dapc/transfer/airport/CommercialAircraft2002.xlsHOME |
TPA-MIA
MIA-DFW-PDX
PDX-DFW-TPA
which still earned .0118 cents/mile.

Fare code MR3GNR. The same fare code currently lists at $1066 on Expedia.
round trip or one way?? I can't seem to find it!!!
ah found it, but DL and NW aren't matching yet...i'll wait.. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Thanks for the tips Spiff. Apparently won't work for my dates. I think we can postulate that this fare was a mistake, as danang said, it should have been $1060 or so, not $106..
Just a question unless you guys want to specifically go to PDX why not the TPA/LAX $173 fare which is still available on AA for more miles? (Unless of course you were able to get the $106 price)

That's just the Southwest-match-of-the-week. Everyone's offering that today (until Thursday), Delta included.
You'll only get 50% MQMs on DL - hard to maintain status at that rate.
For those choosing AA, routing through MIA is allowed and will add to your mileage. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I did fine one on NWA $208.50 including all taxes. TPA/MSP/PDX out..PDX/MSP/DTW/TPA back. 5680 EQM/8520 ttl w/silver bonus. Works out to .024 per mile. Upgradeable of course. That $200 DL voucher is just sitting collecting dust...

Yeah its a mistake and you won't see any other airline match. Is it still pricing out?
You currently get a 25% bonus on DL. However, you'll need to fly 50,000 miles worth of cheap fares to maintain that status.
If you fly any other domestic airline, that same status (with the eventual 25% bonus when you make status) can be yours for only 25,000 miles worth of cheap fares.

I get 50% bonus on NW, 25% on DL. AA would only be flown mileage, so no incentive for me. I could always buy AA and try to get NW to accept thru the BUMP, but that's risky, and i'd rather not be stuck with an AA ticket.
Gone on expedia, still on aa.com, albeit with more conservative routings.

Edit: less = more ...LOL
