Am travelling to Mid East soon and want to upgrade my LAx to Europe section if possible (willing to connect via any USa point if N/S is not available). concrete:: Jersey and Maryland in the Mid-Atlantic region. What routes are now running the 60" pitch besides the LAX to LHR??
Based on the seat map, the SJC-CDG flight looks to have expanded J. I will let you know for sure when I return from there in a few weeks. What it sounds like to me is the Paris and London markets get it, but smaller markets like Brussels and Stockholm are served by the **** 762, which won't get it.
It's my understanding that all the 767-300s(except 8 Hawaiian variants) will have the enhanced business class seating by the end of the summer. I'm not sure what's in store for the -200s.
AA106 (the day flight from JFK-LHR) has the 60" pitch on a 777.
Last time I flew it (about 3 weeks ago), AA90, ORD-LHR, had the revised pitch on a 763. Rumor has the last flight out of JFK also has the increased pitch, but I can't speak to that from any personal experience.
Slainte.

Aircraft are routinely moved from route to route, so until they are all completed it's just an educated guess. Seat maps don't generally show the correct configuration until 24 hours prior to the flight, and even then it's not certain. A few weeks ago I booked a specific 763 flight to get the new F beds, but the day before departure the config was changed to the old layout. I was *really* disappointed, so imagine my surprise when I boarded the flight and found the new layout after all!
As for the 762s, what I've heard from everyone I've asked is there are no plans to reconfigure these at all - even the int'l ones. Curious, IMO, because that will leave AA with three different versions of First and Business classes on 3-class aircraft, which I'd think would be a customer service nightmare.
