I am planning to get a car on monday, and I was looking at the Mitsubishi eclipse, I want to know how much more fuel efficient is the GS 4 cylinders vs. the GT 6 cylinders (2003 models)? is it considerable to justify looking only for a GS?
Also, any general information about the car is appreciated, thanks!
AVOID at all costs, these are some of the most unreliable cars out there. They rarely last 100k miles without major repairs. Old neighbor had one, blew the motor within a year after they bought it. They were designed to look flashy and get them rolled out of the showrooms, not to last, and a 5 years old one is just getting to the age where problems are likely to start showing up.
