i feed him on the best food for him am i just being paranoid and he still growing as my husband says so or is there more i can do for him please help
You actually should be able to see your dogs ribs, particularly the last 2-3, at this age. You should be able to run your hands over his ribs from front to back, and feel the bump of each rib under a decent cushion of skin/tissue.Same with the spine.
Too many dogs in this country are overfed and people think visible ribs mean malnoruished. Quite the opposite.
A young dog like yours should show a little rib....as he ages he will fill out a little more and it won't be as obvious. Just listen to your vet and be sure he's getting proper nutrition.
Husky puppies look thin during their growing stages. He'll get rounder when he's a little older. The Bikejoring Blog: November 2007:: The running is right for me now - I was gaining fat, but I look forward to . Most of the siberian huskies in the races were classic British racing types http://bikejor.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.htmlHOME | What part of "FAT IS BAD!!!" eludes you?
WHY do you imagine that strangers-on-line, who can't even see the dog,let alone know squat, will aid better than your vet????
I think he is probably reaching how tall he should be by now, but he will start putting weight on, just make sure he is always eating, and any doubts just give your vet a call..
most of them are lean.. i have come to accept this lol...i thought my 4 months old husky girl was to small...she weight 10.3kg

she's a little skinny right? and where are ribs are her stomach naturally goes in..from a bird eye view..but i found rather than dry puppy food i mader her some boiled rice with peas and plain boiled chicken breasts, or beef and shred the meat and ix it with the rice and then crack an egg over it..mix it all together....he'll love it...try it.
Its fine, dont feed him too much. Too much weight gain when growing will risk chances of having hip issues.
When he gets to be one, you should not see the ribs, but you should be able to feel them, Thats a healthy weight.
Your husky is young and has not filled out yet. Dogs his age generally do look thin and still growing. If he is healthy and active, then he most likely is fine. You could increase his food a little while he is growing and see if that helps.
