In this mornings Newark Star Ledger. As a courtesy, CO retired these at EWR early.
Another reminder that I'm getting old.

Just if any of you aircraft afficianados are interested, there's a good viedo called "Building and Test Flying the 727 & 747" that I'd recommend. It shows pretty much everything from design, to building, to the actual initial test flight and subsequent flight tests. If anyone's interested, email me and I can give you the info.
Makes me miss the 7-27's even more.
Even People's Express.
Well, maybe NOT People's Express! http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!!!
As long as we're dredging up nostalgia...how
about flights in the early days on Piedmont,
Alleghany, Ozark and New York Air (with an apple logo on the tail).
BTW, Delta announced they will be retireing
their 727's earlier than expected, probably by end of 2000.
Thanks NJDavid, you're not alone!
