when i navigate to a file...any file (mov, mpeg, avi, mkv, etc) and press play...the audio will start immediately, but the video will flash back and forth really quickly between a black screen and the theme menu for a second or two. After that the video will show in highspeed until it catches the audio....and then everything will play perfect.
this is a minor problem, but i was just wondering if everyone has that or is it just me?
i've had this from the first beta, and ive trashed all files before upgrading.
Have the same issue pausing/starting play, changing audio tracks, chapter skips, etc. Nabble - openbsd user - ports - mplayer audio and video stutters :: my boxes (audio and video stutters about every 5 seconds). Known issue for some time I think though.
You try putting the same video file on your local drive as opposed to an external drive (if applicable)
