may 3 cvs shows occassional horizontal tears near the top when there is fast motion. upscaling is enabled. no problem on 480p or april 28 cvs.
i also am hoping this can get a look at, i am using upscaling on my videos too. 480p looks ok, i don't know if it is the scaling in my tv or the scaling in xbmc (i suspect it is my tv which doesn't have a native resolution cleanly divisable by 480) anyway there are faint visible horizontal lines that run the width of the screen about every 8 pixels or so. there are about 50-60 of them on the screen when running in 480p. they are very faint, but anoying since i can see them.
when running in 720p or 1080i the horizontal lines are not there, but there is the tearing, and that is even more noticable. the tearing happens for me in the same place for 720p, it is always about 1/10th of the way down from the top of the screen. in 1080i it is also tears in the same place, just more like 4/10ths of the way down the screen.

yep, i noticed the same thing.
want to give this thread a little bump as this issue hasn't been resolved as of may 8.
have to turn off "upscale video" for now.
i'm also seeing the same thing in 720p on a build dated 9th may.
