I was on an AC flight from YVR-LHR last week and the fancy, schmancy seats seemed to be having some problems (there were at least 4 that were not working properly). Besides that, I could hear the FAs talking about the resetting of the touch video screens. I felt bad for them...they seemed like they spent a ton of time between trying to fix the seats and reset the screens (seemed to be a problem at the back of the bus, rather than the front, though). On an sort of related note, I noticed from YVR-YEG the other day that two of the screens in the row I was in were scratched with something sharp. TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING:: TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING. Boy oh boy do I know what you mean, Boy, about technical glitches; on a US PHL-FCO flight a while back on the 333 the guy next to me is having problems with his IFE and the steward comes by and says to reset the other guy's he has to reset mine as well, which means the movie I had been enjoying I'd have to stop, reset, and then fast forward to where it was I left off. :rolleyes: I've come to regard technology much like indoor plumbing; it's a wonderful thing as long as it works.
