Visiting my husband's new little brother in a couple of hours (his Dad's remarried and has 3 sons to the new wife) - we need to get a token gift but I don't want to buy junk. They are well off so they have everything and anything (plus with 2 other boys they really have the boy baby thing covered!). I just want something simple but nice. Yeah lottery ticket sounds good, but you could also give money for him to open a bank account - give a cheque in the babies name so they have to open an account.
make up some baby sitting vouchers for them to use when they feel ready , or maybe take the two older boys away for a few hours so they can have time to bond with the new baby ,
also a photo frame with the baby's date of birth and name would be inexpensive gift
