Appears I have two choices in paper - Fuji Crystal Archive (tpye II) paper or Kodak Royal. Adam A. Palmer - Hawaii Wedding Photographer, Scenic Hawaii :: Even my smallest package is huge compared to a lot of other Hawaii wedding photographers out there. I shoot every wedding personally and I very work hard http://adamapalmer.com/HOME | Jessica Strickland, International Wedding Photojournalist & Fine :: She takes the traditional family photos that are a part of every wedding, . She was there the day of my wedding before I arrived as the blushing bride http://www.jessicarstrickland.com/HOME |
Prices are about the same...each claims to be the best...what opne should I go for?
Thanks,
Matt
Thanks...appreciate the feedback!
You're probably best off matching the lab's printer to the paper. There probably won't be any actual "quality" difference in the papers, but it's a question of which works better with their printer.
I have found that Fuji film processed and printed in Fuji branded kit (I think the printer might actually be a Noritsu at the local labm but it has a Fuji sticker) and then printed on Fuji Crystal Archive is pretty unbeatable for taking sharp pictures. John Birchard -Mendocino California Wedding Photography:: Starting this year, I've upgraded my website to include a client access page where you can view your wedding photos online. Most weddings are now available http://www.birchardweddingphotography.com/HOME |
Ask the lab and maybe have a portrait printed on both before FOC to choose - I'm sure they'll accommodate you.
Rob
I think fuji looks best for weddings
And I work somewhere that uses kodak - so i'm not bias.
