Principal responsibilities include:
* Photo Research: Purchase and placement of photos/images for stories on all pages of website
* Parody Creation: Including photo montages, creation of original artwork, and capturing skills
* HTML linking of written and graphical content
* Creation of general art content
* Overall responsibility for the look of the site, reporting to the Senior Producer, Managing Editor
Job Requirements / Technical Skills:
* Being able to work in a fast paced environment with daily (sometimes
hourly) deadlines
* Being able to work independently on multiple projects
* Excellent knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop CS
* Exceptional knowledge of vector and animation programs like, Macromedia Flash and Adobe Image Ready
* Experience with content management systems
* Strong Illustration skills
Other duties and responsibilities:
* Video and Audio Capturing and editing
* Working on promotions related to online and print subscriptions
* EIB Store graphics for products and ads
* Updating website, offering suggestions on improving functionality
* Maintain relationships with photo source reps and print houses
* Adding features, and creating holiday graphics
