Think about the great leaders you personally know. Perhaps thinking about what they would do in certain situations inspired your leadership moments in the past. Great leaders have great leaders for role models. Maybe your role model is a parent, a teacher, or a friend. If you know someone whose opinions and actions you respect, emulate them.
Play To Your Strengths
In what areas will you lead? That depends. What are you good at? What do you love? If you have a passion for politics, go to work for a candidate you respect and become a leader of volunteers. Or run for student government. If you love theater, become a director. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. When you identify what youre good at, what makes you special, then youve identified an area of your life that you have leadership potential in.
