In Goa there were these computers distributed by the government for students from the colleges. Now they are crappy computers with cheap components. Not even worth the 4 grand, but whatever. Now, I wanted to install a graphics card on one of them.
They have an AGP slot but there was a warning sticker not to put a card in there. Anyway, I put a geforce mx440 in but there was no output. I checked in the bios and there was no option to disable or enable onboard graphics and such. What do I do? Its an 845 board...
There has to be an option in ur bios. X-bit labs - Print version:: The graphics card is equipped with 256MB of DDR SDRAM memory graphics cards with the maximum graphics quality settings but with disabled pixel shaders. http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/print/ati-nvidia-roundup.htmlHOME | ATI Card - Computing.Net:: I installed an ATI graphics card (PCI slot) into my computer. I disabled the intergrated video card and installed the new drivers. The thing is I dont get the Dell http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/ati-card-/43861.htmlHOME |
It can be under the name 'Initialise first display type' the options would be onboard/agp or Pci.
Check it out.
