Fords new 3.5-liter V-6 engine is rated at 265 horsepower on 87 octane regular grade fuel. Said engine gives car occupants a powerful yet comfortable ride with less pain at the pump. The engine is incorporated to the new Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX crossovers, and Lincoln MKZ sedan which went on sale since October.
The new engine from Ford, which is now produced at Lima Engine Plant in Lima, Ohio, was designed to evolve and be compatible with direct injection and turbocharged direct injection technology. Further, said intention is also open to the possibility of improving power and torque output.
