Do not repeat your prayer.

It is on record that most of the people believe in the existence of God and it is also on record that the people devote some of their time daily in devotion to God and in the end they pray and demand some thing from God. In the first part of their prayer they praise God and recall some of the powers of God and then they say something thanking God for the blessings which had been given to them. Then the third part of the prayer starts in which they try to lay down their demands before God. This third part of prayer is most important for the man because he is concentrating on all the demands and then he is trying to talk to God. We know that most of the demands are secret and the people are not telling these demands to the man who has been hired by them for the purpose and when they are standing in prayer, they try to lay these demands before God personally and they wish that these demands should be fulfilled.
On one side we believe in God and we also believe that whatever we are demanding from God, those demands of us shall be fulfilled, but it is on record that we are repeating these demands time and again till those are fulfilled. some time it seems the man on this earth repeats the same demand time and again believing that what he had laid down before God yesterday, God might have forgotten the same and therefore, the man starts repeating the same demand time and again. This is not the right course, but the man cannot stop the repetition. It clearly means that there is something wrong in the belief of this man. On one side this man says that God knows our difficulties and He shall be solving our problems and on the other hand we are trying to lay down our demands before God and praying for solution of our problems. We do not believe in Gods memory and that is the reason we are repeating our demands and on the other hand we also believe that God might have forgotten our demands. This is something wrong, but there is none on earth who can tell this man that he should lay down his demand before God only once and then he must understand that the demands which have been fulfilled by God, those demands had been rejected by God and the demands which have been accepted by God those were genuine demands and that is the reason those have been accepted by God. But still we try to place the same demands before God and we continue the same process without any stoppage. When we repeat the demand, it clearly means we have not got full faith in God. The people who are declaring themselves religious people must understand this fact of life and they should avoid repeating the same demands before God. They should lay down their demands only once and then they should wait for the result. If the demands are accepted, that is good and if those are not accepted, those are deemed to have been rejected.
